Other palms can be used including Arenga engleri /Dwarf Sugar Palm or the Caryota Mitis / Fishtail Palm.

In all cases, the budget will dictate the starting height for the hedge. Spacing can vary from 2.5 feet up to 5 feet on center. Smaller palms or plants on wide spacing will leave more area uncovered today.
